So this is the first holiday season for Jaci Maeve. We have been contemplating what family traditions to get started...no better time like the present. I have a few ideas - first and foremost how do you make Christmas a celebration of its true meaning??? I would love to hear some things that you do to honor our Lord on this blessed day.
I want her first X-mas to be about our Savior - in order to do so I feel we should read the story of His birth on Christmas morning. So far...that is all I have.
What about Thanksgiving and the New Year?? Any suggestions?

When our girls was little on Christmas morning we would make and decorate a Birthday cake for JESUS and I would explain to them that Christmas was really about JESUS birthday and not about the gifts they would get, now my gramdbabies and I do the same thing. It's alot of fun and good memories. Always remember it's Merry Christmas not x-mas because we never want to take CHRIST out of Christmas. If not for him we would not be here to make traditions and memories but you already know that.
Dawn takes Caylee & Garrett to get an Angel off the Angel tree or get's a family in need at the school to teach them it's about giving not always getting. What ever you guy's do I know it will be good and I know it will be to honor the LORD. Take care and know we Love you all. Aunt Connie
